TOP REASONS TO COME TO PTA MEETINGS 1.  You can have an impact by voting on issues that are important to you. 2.  PTA meetings often include educational programs for parents. Some examples include teaching time management skills to your children, Emotional IQ and Advocacy Training. 3.  Your PTA's goal is to give every child a voice in the public school system. 4.  You will learn about services available to you and your children, such as PTA sponsored after school programs. 5.  You can learn about what your school is doing to promote internet safety. 6.  You can find out what social events are coming up...Sauganash School is almost famous for it's Halloween Party, Celebrate Our Children Spring Benefit and Family Fun Night. 7.  Children who have parents that are involved in their school have a higher self esteem and better test scores. 8.  Volunteers are needed for all committees, please contact the PTA's current President  or visit your monthly PTA meeting.
